🗓️ Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad

• Arrival at Islamabad International Airport

• Meet & greet by Nomadic Expeditions team

• Transfer to hotel

• Equipment check & trek briefing

Day 2 – Fly to Skardu (2,228 m)

• Morning scenic flight to Skardu (weather permitting)

• Views of Nanga Parbat & Karakoram range

• Rest & acclimatization walk
  Accommodation: Hotel
  Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Note: (If flight is cancelled: 2-day drive via Karakoram Highway)

Day 3 – Acclimatization & Permits (Skardu)

• Free day for acclimatization

• Visit Skardu Bazaar, Kharpocho Fort

• Final gear checks & permit processing
  Accommodation: Hotel
  Meals: Full board

Day 4 – Drive to Askole (3,050 m)

• 6–7 hour jeep drive along Braldu River

• Last village before the great glaciers

• Meet porters & expedition crew
  Accommodation: Camping
  Meals: Full board

Day 5 – Trek Askole → Jhola (3,200 m)

• Trek along Braldu River

• First glacier views

• Easy walk to adjust to trekking rhythm
  Trek Time: 5–6 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 6 – Jhola → Paiju (3,400 m)

• Cross suspension bridges

• Enter Baltoro Glacier region

• Campsite beneath Paiju Peak
  Trek Time: 6–7 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 7 – Rest & Acclimatization at Paiju

• Optional hike to Paiju viewpoint

• Laundry & rest day

• Cultural interaction with Balti porters
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 8 – Paiju → Khoburtse (3,800 m)

• Trek on Baltoro Glacier

• Ice, rock, and moraine terrain
  Trek Time: 6–7 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 9 – Khoburtse → Urdukas (4,000 m)

• One of the most scenic campsites

• Views of Trango Towers & Uli Biaho
  Trek Time: 5–6 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 10 – Urdukas → Goro II (4,300 m)

• Walk at the junction of Baltoro & Younghusband Glacier

• First views of Gasherbrum range
  Trek Time: 6–7 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 11 – Goro II → Concordia (4,600 m)

• Trek to the “Throne Room of Mountain Gods”

• Views of K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum IV
  Trek Time: 5–6 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 12 – Concordia → K2 Base Camp (5,150 m)

• Optional visit to Broad Peak Base Camp

• Iconic views directly beneath K2
  Trek Time: 6–8 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 13 – Rest Day at K2 Base Camp

• Acclimatization & exploration

• Photography & storytelling with guides

• Preparation for Gondogoro La crossing

Day 14 – K2 BC → Concordia

• Return trek for safety & acclimatization
  Trek Time: 5–6 hours
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 15 – Concordia → Ali Camp (5,000 m)

• Trek toward Gondogoro Glacier

• Final preparation for pass crossing
  Accommodation: Camping

Day 16 – Cross Gondogoro La (5,585 m) → Khuspang

• Midnight start for safety

• Fixed ropes, crampons, guided ascent

• Stunning sunrise views of K2, Laila Peak, Gasherbrums

• Long descent into Hushe Valley
  Trek Time: 10–12 hours

Day 17 – Khuspang → Saicho (3,350 m)

• Easier trekking day

• Transition from ice to green valley

• Final trek day

• Meet local villagers

• Celebration with porters

Day 19 – Drive Hushe → Skardu

• Scenic drive through Shyok Valley

Day 20 – Fly to Islamabad

Day 21 – Departure

• Transfer to airport
